I am working on a online store. I will have yarns; Katia, Gedifra, Schachenmayr, Adriafil and Antonio del Rio. I will have patchwork supplies, crochet and cross stitch. I am sooo excited. I will post the website as soon as it is done. I am been pretty busy cause I am also openning a store here in town. I will sell craft supplies and teach.

I am back...

Just realiza that is been a long time since I posted anything. I have been hard at work on several projects. Here are some pictures of my soon to be Sampler Quilt. These are my nine squares. Usually, a Sampler Quilt is done in light colors and pastels, but I wanted to go with something different, so I picked a black background with bright and loud colors. Hope you like it. Now I have to put it together and quilt it. Will show you the finish project when I have it.

Found a old love....

Hello everyone,

I am back from a very nice and relaxing vacation. In the process I have found an old love, patchwork/quilting. I haven´t done it for a long time and I am very excited about being able to do it again. I am working a several projects at the moment and will have pictures for you in a week or so.

On vacation!

Finaly all the exams are done and it is time for summer fun. We are going on vacation starting tomorrow till the 7th. I have lots of projects that I am taking with me so I will have stuff to show you when I get back. Lots of surprises and new fun crafts.

Test, test and more test...

I am so tired of them. I had two in the last two weeks. Had one on Monday, I have two tomorrow, one on Thrusday and another one on Friday. And next week I have three more....... I am ready for the 19th to come and go on vacation and disconect......

Flower field

I love this adorable tiny flowers. They are done in a few minutes and can be done in any color or color combination. Lots of fun....

Working on a new design....

So with all the nice words about my first top, I have decided to start on a second one. Here is a little preview of the stick. This will be a knit top in hot pink and off white. I am still on the very early planning stages. Don´t know if I will like the off white band or just make it all pink and do the trim in off white. I am using Katia Madison 100% acetate yarn. It is very soft and light weight.

New tops...

I have promised you more pictures of the new tops and here they are. I wasn´t able to take any pictures of my nieces with the tops but I am guessing my sister will send me some soon. I hope you like them....

What else do I like.....

You know I love the crochet and do crafts, but what else do I like. Well, I love to take photographs. Here are some examples of what I have done. I wish my girls will be a bit more patience sometimes and let me take better pictures of them. You can check more of my pictures on Flickr. Hope you enjoy them.

Lemon and Lime Tops

These two tops are done with the same pattern but with different colors. Can also be made in orange. I made these to test a pattern from my friend Alla. They came out really cute and can´t wait into the good weather settles in to put them on the girls.

I am sooo excited.....

I have done my fully mine design. This is the first one done by me from beggining to end. I am so excited to have finish it and I love the way it came out. I have used a new yarn by Katia Bombay 100% Mercerized Cotton. I comes in 8 different shades. I love all the colors on this yarn. I have combine it with Anchor Creativa 100% cotton in a lovely shade of purple. This one can be done in any color. I am working on a headband to match. Stay tune!

Hibiscus Top

Here is another top done by a pattern by My Little City Girl. I love this one. I made it in pink and white but also can be done all in one colors. This one is very playful. The "skirt" makes it fun to make a wear. It comes with adjustible straps and it fits both my girls. It is available in My Crafty Closet Shop, if anyone is interested.
